Access Afya is a primary healthcare social enterprise delivering affordable, effective healthcare in Kenya. Access Afya is designed specifically to serve the needs of low-income markets in Kenya.
For those living in a slum in Kenya, healthcare is unavailable, unaffordable and low quality. The average cost of a private clinic costs 8 times the average daily wage. Access Afya's patients earn on average $3.50 per day and primarily work in the informal sector.
Patients visit a clinic for Antenatal and post-natal care, diabetes and hypertension, management of general outpatient conditions, urgent care, family planning, growth monitoring for children and vaccination.
